Free Wood Chip Deliveries

As we work jobs around Nanoose Bay, Lantzville and the central Vancouver island area we generate a lot of wood chips — and rather than hauling them to the dump, we’d rather drop them somewhere useful. If you’ve got a spot for a load, sign up below and we’ll add you to our drop list.

How it works:

• We drop close to wherever we’re working. Requests get matched to whatever job we’re on at the time, so we can only deliver to properties near our current job site or truck yard — we don’t run separate trips across the Island just for a chip drop.

• Loads run 10–15 yards. Our truck holds 10 to 15 yards most of the time, dumped all at once in a single pile. That’s a big load — make sure you’ve genuinely got the space (think large driveway or open area, not a garden bed).

• Chips are a mix of species. Chips come straight from whatever we’re removing or pruning, sometimes from multiple jobs and different species, so you’ll get a mix of the common species found here on the Island. It’s rare that we can guarantee a specific type, unless we are working on large tree removal projects, which will fill the whole truck.

• It’s free. No charge either way — you get free wood chips, we get a convenient place to unload.

• Clear access is a must. Our truck needs to back in and dump directly, so please make sure there’s driveable, unobstructed access wide enough and tall enough for a full-size truck to dump.

• Timing isn’t guaranteed. Drops happen opportunistically based on where we’re working and who’s next on the list. We can’t promise a date or window — sign up, and we’ll reach out when a job brings us your way.
